WARTBURG — The Morgan County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday (May 10) launched its revamped website, MorganCountyChamber.com.
The Chamber of Commerce partnered with Appy Brands to give its website a makeover.
The new website will allow Chamber members to join the Chamber of Commerce and pay their membership fees online using a credit card through the nationally-trusted Stripe platform. Once Chamber members have an account, they can take ownership of their listing in the website’s Member Directory using the website’s integrated tools to update their listing’s photographs, business hours, contact information, and more.
Chamber members also have access to a brand-new job board that is included on the website, to post job openings at their businesses.
Other features have been integrated into the website, as well, and more are forthcoming. The website is mobile-friendly, and accessible from any desktop or mobile device.
“We are really excited about the launch of our dynamic new website,” said Melissa Kreis-Stephens, president of the Chamber of Commerce. “It is a perfect reflection of the Chamber brand, the area we call home and our mission to promote local business.”
The Obed Wild & Scenic River and Frozen Head State Park are featured heavily on the website as two features that largely define Morgan County’s scenic backdrop and tourism draw, but the website also takes a business-centric approach that focuses on the people and organizations who power Morgan County’s local economy.
“It shows what is important to us: our people, our connections to tourism and the parks, our communities and our history,” Stephens said. “It is user-friendly and, much like the Chamber itself, positive and full of energy! And you can join the Chamber from there!”
