Chamber to host golf tournament at Bear Trace in Crossville

The Morgan County Chamber of Commerce will host the Bear Trace Golf Tournament  fundraiser at Cumberland Mountain on Monday, September 25th in Crossville.

Come play on the Bear Trace named “One of the Top Ten You Can Play in North America” by Golf Magazine. Golf Digest named it “One of the Top Ten Courses in Tennessee” and the course has been named by GOLFWEEK Magazine as the #1 Public Course in Tennessee for several years running.

The 6,900-yard, par 72 layout features a design rolling with elevation changes and natural features common to the Cumberland Plateau such as flowing brooks and mature pine stands. There are risk/reward opportunities for all levels of golfers, typical of Jack Nicklaus Signature courses.

Teams of four $500, individual players $125.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the MoCo Mutts Rescue Center in Sunbright, Tennessee.  Since 2018, they have helped over 4,000 animals with medical care, sanctuary, housing, fostering and adoption.  They are filling a huge void and making a big impact one “wag” at a time.
